Welcome
An explanation of the importance biodiversity through the maintenance of ecosystem services.
The four services are provisioning, regulating, cultural, and supporting. If we lose these for services, animals would start to die and when the animals die more species die out and it goes on and on till it gets to humans and then we would die out. All of this is if the ecosystem services get destroyed and if the water would go and there would be more floods and the temperature would be uncontrollable and everything would become ruined and the web would get destroyed all if the services are destroyed that's why the ecosystem services are really important and that everyone has to help out with the services.
An action plan for maintaining biodiversity through the use of ecosystem services with an analysis of the pros and cons of your idea.
1. We can make fake webs for the spiders. 2. We can release the spider instead of killing it. 3. We can plant colorful plants to use their unique abilities, like camouflage. 4. We can make sure that their environment is not polluted with trash. 5. If we find a spider in our house, we could get a spider cage, and give the spider its needs. |
Pros and Cons1 Pro-It can support the spiders with homes and food for the spider. 1 Con-It may not have the special ingredients that the spider uses to make it’s web. 2 Pro-When we release the spider, it will be returned to it’s home. 2 Con-We would not know what it’s environment would be if we find one in our house. 3 Pro-The plants can produce colorful flowers or bushes, and can produce more homes for the spiders. 3 Con-The colorfulness of the plant will die in the winter and the spiders might lose their homes. 4 Pro-The spiders environment will be healthier and cleaner. 4 Con-No cons needed 5 Pro-We would supply the spider with food, some water, and something to climb on to make it think that it is in its environment. 5 Con-While we have the spider in the cage, we would have to find the environment it came from, and the spider would have to adapt to it’s surroundings. |
